The best time to go to Toa Payoh central is on a rainy day. The Ya Kun was quite empty which is rare on a Sunday night. I went to frosty tea ($2+) instead of the regular Teh-C. To my surprise, it taste good. I share it with my tea partner who also felt it tastes good. I am happy I have something else to order in future.
By the way, Ya Kun's standard varies depending on who is on duty to make the drinks. I calculated if I patronizes Ya Kun once every week, I will spend at least $52 a year which is not a lot. To be profitable, they need quantity.
Bliss level: High
