It is a very very busy day today. I have meeting since 9.30 to near 1pm. Luckily, I manage to rush down to meet a bunch of friends at the coffeeshop near office (Blk 7 Tanjong Pagar Road). This is the same coffeeshop that I recommended Beef Kway Tiao (http://followmyfooddiary.wordpress.com/2010/05/05/beef-kway-tiao-soup/) so I went to the noodle stall next to it. My aim is not to repeat any food that I have eaten before.
As I was queuing, stall auntie already ask me what I want. I couldn't make up my mind at that moment. The stall sells laksa, lor mee, bak chor mee and fishball noodle, even prawn noodle. Finally I settle for Bak Chor Mee Pok. Uncle who is the chef took quite a while to cook it which makes me think that it should be quite good.
Truely, I was right. The chilli is very shiok and spicy which I love. The mee pok is well-cooked as in not too hard or too soft. The best bak chor mee I have eaten wins in the minced pork and this one loses out in this area. It is not that the meat is not nice but the other stall does it better. I would give this stall's food above average and definitely would try it again. Their laksa looks very shiok.
Bliss level: Medium to High
Note: I din't get to blog this because I was so busy back in the office again that I didn't get to blog this after lunch.
