Despite the drizzle, we walked all the way to Amoy Food Market. And in order to get a seat during lunch hour, we went there early. This is a food paradise with many famous food stalls. I intend to blog about each of them one by one in future. Today's choice is the famous Lor Mee stall at level 2 (See photo for the stall name and number). By the time we reached there, there is already a queue at this stall. This isn't the first time I have eaten at this stall. After my first try, I have been visiting this stall whenever I am in this market. I heard from some friends before there are better ones. I like is their Lor that makes the Lor Mee nice and easy to finish. The other ingredients taste self-made unlike some hawkers that uses factory made ingredients. Most importantly, this bowl you see costs only $2. The portion is just good enough for a petite person like me. I uploaded another photo that my colleague bought for us to share to eat. I don't know what is the name of the dish but it is delicious. I wasn't too sure what makes the inside and my colleague guesses that it is minced meat. Anyway I will find out the next time I come to this market again.
