2 days and 1 night in Korea

It is a good thing that you already know what to eat for lunch. Colleagues and I always walk past this restaurant when we go Maxwell market for lunch. So someone mentioned that this restaurant is good and we decided to give this a try.

The restaurant front is covered with black glass doors and makes it look like some sleezy bar. Furthermore, their name is really called 2D1N Soju Bang (Soju is a Korean alcohol). I doubt I will come here if not because someone recommended. We sat in the room as there are supposedly 8 of us. There is also a buzzer for you to press to call the waitress. One colleague commented that every restaurant should install this type of buzzer. I order this dish called"Korean Wedding Noodles" that cost $10. (Noodles in Korean is called guksu). I couldn't find this dish on google. Nevertheless, I order it because I find the name interesting. But please take note we saw the dinner set costs $20 to $30.

As usual, like most Korean restaurants, they will give lots of side dishes. I often wonder how they earn money by giving away free flow of vegetables. The dish turns out to be seafood noodles. It tastes like thinner version of ban mian with lots of vegetables and seafood. I find the food average. But it could be what I order because the rest seems to like their food. I guess I will come again to try other dishes.

Oh yes! I forget to add that they provide free mineral water and even canned ice tea.
