Who would imagine in such a hidden coffee shop there are good food? I didn't but there is. Besides the western food, there is another stall that I strongly recommended everyone to try. This stall sells Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee that cost $3. This Hokkien Prawn Mee is comparable to those famous Hokkien Prawn Mee (there are a few famous ones in Toa Payoh already). Stall has no newspaper articles and I have never thought of trying thinking the stall front looks uninteresting. I found out its goodness only after a long while when my dad then my mum told me this is good. Not every good thing is known to people. If one can keep eating this without causing health problem, I am quite sure I will eat this very often. Uncle who cooked the mee drop a 10 dollar note while I was paying him. He said "See the result of being old". I told him "But ... Uncle, your mee is very nice". He smiled and I guess I make his day. It doesn't hurt to pay a small compliment to others and let them know you appreciate the good things they give. Have you compliment someone today? :)
