Family dinner occurs often at Zi Char stalls, at least that is my family culture. It is a cheaper alternative to aircon restaurants. This Zi Char stall is high tech as orders are made through PDA and the receipt issued is printed and not handwritten.Typically, a family will order a soup, some meat and vegetables. As you can see in the photo, that's the combination we ordered too. The dishes are bittergourd soup, butter pork rib, hot plate beancurb and dried shrimp long bean. I like the dried shrimp long bean and butter pork rib best. I find most soups at Zi Char normal and still prefer mum's soups. The weather is very hot today and I was perspiring while eating dinner which make rather restless at dinner. I didn't eat that much too as strangely I am still full from lunch. Anyway, dinner costs $42 for 6 persons, that is around $7/pax.
