Any company business trip usually need to end with a dinner with your colleagues in foreign land. Australian colleagues brought us to a restaurant nearby office called Ribs and Rumps. Their speciality is as stated - in Ribs and in Rumps. I did a google search on Rump and found the meaning of Rump on Wikipedia, it says Rump is round primal cut of beef and is also a lean cut that is moderately tough. Anyway, I have seen Rump appearing on several signages put up by other steak restaurants giving Rump steak offers at AUD$10. So I must give Rump a try. I ordered a 250gram of Rump (the smallest) cooked at medium rare. The other sizes are 350gram and 500gram and their cheapest steak already cost >AUD$20.
Rump is less fatty than Sirlion and meat is tougher. I am glad that I chose cooked at medium rare so that the meat is easier to chew. I would say their meat is quite well done and tastes juicy. But then again I miss the steak in US somehow or rather. My manager keep praising that the steak he ate was fantastic. Just to add on, despite the steak in the photo looked small, the portion was huge enough for me. I also like their short form name for their restaurant called RandR which reminds me of random function in programming. RandR also uses cute mascot icon with an aboriginal holding a spear and a fork.

Bliss level: Medium (reduced level because the dinner companions are VP and directors)
