After seeing the foggy famous three sisters at Blue Mountain and did a short muddy trek at Leura cascades, we headed to Leura for lunch. It is a small town with a stretch of shops along the main road. We spotted this cafe with reasonable price and headed in. It's called The Red Door and as you can see in the photo, the entrance is a red door. The interior is cozy and I simply love small cozy cafe. Around us are mostly tourists and mostly Asians. My colleagues ordered Beef Pie (AUD$15+) and Pasta (AUD$15+) while I took a long time to decide on Chicken Pie (AUD$13+). Pie seems to be popular in Sydney. I love the hot chocolate drink that I ordered. The hot chocolate came with 2 mash mallows which I find it interesting to dip them in hot chocolate to eat it. My chicken pie crust is not the crispy type and felt more like croissant but the chicken paste inside tastes not bad - more of watery mash. We all however love the Beef Pie that the other colleague ordered especially the black sauce that comes with it that makes it delicious.
