A MacDonalds Sydney Sunday

I have never tried MacDonalds overseas iny memory. I have this overseas trip principle that I abide to that always to try local food instead of food that we can get in Singapore e.g. Fast food. But this time I decided to try Macs because a colleague said that Macs might taste different overseas.

We woke up early and heads towards the nearest Mac near the hostel. This Macs looks glamourous inside with chandlier lights. I shared a delux breakfast roll with my colleague. The roll is made up of bacon, eggs and beef patties. I think it tasted average and still prefer McMuffin instead.

When we reached the airport around 3pm, we walked past Macs and wanted to try Angus Beef Burger. I ordered Mighty Angus Meal that costs AUD $8+. This is as expensive as Carl's Junior. Honestly I cannot really tell a difference between Angus beef and normal beef patty. It tasted like quarter pounder except for the sourdough bread. But what I could taste a difference is the fries. My colleague said he could taste the difference too. There is a farmer taste or a stronger roasted taste which makes the fries nicer than Singapore.

Bliss level: Medium
