Famous Toa Payoh Hainan Beef Noodles

I am not sure when this beef noodles become so popular that there is actually a long queue. Normally, there isnt since I started eating this years ago. It has gotten famous over the years but without doubt, the stall deserves it. Lunch today was an impromptu. I meet up with my permanent head damage friend for lunch at Toa Payoh Lor 7. I suggested trying the beef noodles that was good. We waited for at least 20 minutes to order just 2 bowls of beef balls noodles ($3 each).

The wait was worth it. The gravy makes the noodles so delicious that we both finished our bowl of noodles. We saw the bottles of gravy stored at the stall's shelves. At first we thought the smallest size ($3) means a small amount of noodles. But I counted 9 meat balls and the portion of noodles served is definitely enough to fill a guy's tummy. Money well-worth!

I could see the blissful face of my PHD friend and knew it was a good choice to recommend this to him especially he is going back to US soon to continue head damage learning and would miss Singapore's local food.

Bliss Level: High
