Löwenbräu Keller

There is some light festival going on at Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay so we decided to head to that area for dinner by foot. It takes around 20 to 30 mins to reach Circular Quay. I suggested going to the The Rocks area which is next to Circular Quay because there are quite a few restaurants. If you hang out with 3 guys, their obvious choice is a restaurant with meat. I brought them to the German restaurant that I walked past and lingered around in my last trip.

This German restaurant is often full and buzzing with activities. Waitresses and waitors are wearing Germany traditional clothes. Colleagues are drooling at the pork knuckles at the next table. I order a pork schnitzel ( fried pork cutlet) instead. I love the schnitzels that I ate in Germany. Each of us also ordered a beer and I prefer the dark beer. A colleague ordered lemon beer and oddly there is no lemon taste. The schnitzel I ate was such a huge piece and by the time I finished it, I couldn't ate the fries that come along with it. I still prefer the ones I ate in Germany which is thicker. Likewise, my colleagues who ordered the pork knuckle couldn't finish. The pork knuckle tastes good. The food here reminded me of BrotZeit or Brewerks or Paulaner in Singapore. I could tell the guys looks blissful. Luckily there is a distance between hotel and here which we can walk so that we can digest the food.
